CBP One is a mobile application operated by U.S. Customs and Border Protection that the Biden administration configured, from May 2023 to January 2025, to allow migrants outside the United States to schedule appointments at land ports of entry. After scheduling appointments and presenting at a port, migrants underwent inspection and, if approved, were granted humanitarian parole — allowing them to enter the U.S. legally and apply for work authorization while pursuing asylum claims. The Trump administration shut down the CBP One appointment system on January 20, 2025, and subsequently revoked parole for approximately 900,000 people who had entered through the program.
