Anton Publishes "The Flight 93 Election" in Claremont Review

Michael Anton, writing under the pseudonym Publius Decius Mus, published "The Flight 93 Election" in the Claremont Review of Books on Labor Day, September 5, 2016. The essay framed the choice between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton as a Flight 93 hijacking — "charge the cockpit or you die" — and argued conservatives must accept Trump because liberal democracy as practiced was already lost. Anton joined the National Security Council in January 2017 as deputy assistant to the president for strategic communications.
