Two tankers attacked in Gulf of Oman, US blames Iran

Two oil tankers (Norwegian-owned Front Altair, Japanese-owned Kokuka Courageous) were attacked near the Strait of Hormuz while Japanese PM Abe was visiting Tehran to mediate. The US released video purporting to show an IRGC patrol boat removing an unexploded limpet mine. Iran denied involvement. Secretary Pompeo stated that "it is the assessment by the United States government that the Islamic Republic of Iran is responsible for the attacks."
