Trump reinstates Schedule F on day one

Trump signed an executive order titled "Restoring Accountability To Policy-Influencing Positions Within the Federal Workforce," reviving the 2020 Schedule F framework under the new name Schedule Policy/Career. OPM estimated about 50,000 federal positions would be reclassified as at-will, stripping civil-service appeal rights. The order made operational the Yarvin RAGE concept and the Project 2025 personnel plan.
