Supreme Court Stays Los Angeles Restrictions on ICE Enforcement Factors

The Supreme Court stayed a lower court order that had barred Los Angeles police from considering race, ethnicity, or national origin when assisting ICE operations. Justice Sonia Sotomayor wrote a dissent warning the ruling gutted Fourth Amendment protections for Latino communities.
