Federal authorities arrested Jason Lee Hyland, then 37, of Frisco, Texas, in a Jan. 6 Capitol breach case. The case involved entering and remaining in a restricted building, disorderly conduct, violent entry, and parading or picketing in a Capitol building. NPR records that Hyland later pleaded guilty to parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building, was sentenced on August 9, 2022 to seven days in jail, and later received a full pardon on January 20, 2025.
