Education Coalition Files Amended Complaint as Trump Moves $28B to Labor Department

A coalition of unions, school districts, and disability rights groups filed an amended complaint challenging Trump's transfer of ~$28B in K-12 grant programs from the Education Department to the Labor Department. The Arc of the United States joined the suit (Somerville v. Trump), arguing Congress—not the president—controls agency structure. The transfer covers Title I funds for low-income schools, ELL students, homeless youth, and migrant students.
