VA expands healthcare eligibility to post-9/11 veterans exposed to burn pits under the PACT Act

Veterans who served after August 2, 1990 and were not previously eligible for VA healthcare become eligible if they have a discharge other than dishonorable. Eliminates the previous requirement to prove service-connected disability for post-9/11 combat veterans. An estimated 1.7 million previously ineligible veterans gain access.
