Biden signs 17 executive orders on Inauguration Day reversing Trump policies
On his first day as president, Joe Biden signs 17 executive orders, proclamations, and memoranda, more than any other president on Day 1 since FDR. The actions rejoin the Paris Climate Accord, reverse the Muslim travel ban, halt construction of the US-Mexico border wall, rescind Trump's Schedule F order, and implement a federal mask mandate on all federal property. Biden also sends an immigration reform bill to Congress and reverses Trump's withdrawal from the World Health Organization, naming Dr. Anthony Fauci as head of the US delegation.
