Michael Ozzie Myers is sentenced for Philadelphia ballot stuffing

U.S. District Judge Paul S. Diamond sentenced former U.S. Rep. Michael Ozzie Myers to 30 months in prison for election-fraud crimes in Philadelphia. Federal prosecutors said Myers bribed election officials to add votes for preferred Democratic candidates in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 elections. The sentence removed a political operative who used campaign money and ward-level access to override voters' choices.
