World Liberty Financial applies for national trust bank charter

On Jan. 7, 2026, World Liberty Financial filed an application with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to form World Liberty Trust Company, a proposed national trust bank for stablecoin issuance, redemption, custody and reserve management.
