Ohio Supreme Court Strikes Second Congressional Map

The Ohio Supreme Court ruled 4-3 in Neiman v. LaRose that the Ohio Redistricting Commission March 2022 congressional map again unduly favored the Republican Party in violation of Article XIX. Chief Justice Maureen O Connor again joined the three Democratic justices. The court ordered new districts for 2024, but the legislature later passed yet another version after O Connor was term-limited off the bench.
