Vance Visits Camp Pendleton for Marine Corps 250th Birthday Celebration

Vice President JD Vance visited Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton on Oct. 17, 2025, to mark the Marine Corps' 250th anniversary and deliver remarks to troops. The Marine Corps was established on Nov. 10, 1775; Camp Pendleton, the largest Marine Corps installation on the West Coast and home of the 1st Marine Division, also hosts joint training for border security operations under Operation Southern Shield.
