Grijalva's signature gives the Epstein petition the 218 votes to force a House vote

Rep. Adelita Grijalva (D-AZ) was sworn in on Nov. 12, 2025 after a delay of nearly seven weeks and immediately became the 218th signature on the discharge petition, forcing a floor vote. Hours earlier, Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche had met Rep. Lauren Boebert in the White House Situation Room to press her to drop off the petition. She refused.
