OPM publishes Federal Register notice 3206-NEW demanding health records
The Office of Personnel Management published Federal Register notice 3206-NEW, ordering all 65 Federal Employees Health Benefits and Postal Service Health Benefits insurers to submit monthly identifiable health records for every enrolled member. The notice requests medical claims, pharmacy claims, encounter data, and provider records without requiring redaction of names or birth dates. The comment period was set to close February 10, 2026.
