Iran retaliates with 16 ballistic missiles at Al-Asad Air Base in Iraq

Iran launched 16 short-range ballistic missiles at Al-Asad Air Base and Erbil in Iraq. No US personnel were killed due to early warning, but over 100 troops were later diagnosed with traumatic brain injuries (TBI) from blast pressure, and dozens received Purple Hearts. Gen. McKenzie estimated 100-150 Americans could have been killed without evacuation. This was direct retaliation for the Soleimani strike.
