DOJ and ATF announce 34 gun regulation changes after comprehensive review
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and ATF Director Robert Cekada announced 34 final and proposed rulemaking notices from a 14-month comprehensive regulatory review under Executive Order 14206. The package implements seven major reforms: pistol brace rule repeal, "engaged in the business" definition revision, bump stock rule updates, electronic record-keeping for licensees, Form 4473 simplification with electronic NFA signatures, and fixed-term 4473 retention (20-30 years instead of indefinite).
