DOJ indicts Synergy Marine in Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse

The Justice Department indicted Singapore-based Synergy Marine Group and crew members of the container ship Dali on criminal charges related to the March 26, 2024 collapse of Baltimore's Francis Scott Key Bridge. Prosecutors charged the company with seaman's manslaughter and negligent operation of a vessel, alleging the crew failed to report a known power failure before the ship struck the bridge. Six construction workers died in the collapse, and each victim was named in the indictment.
