Independent archivists build searchable Epstein file databases after DOJ delays

Independent researchers and nonprofit archivists expanded searchable Epstein file databases after the DOJ release process produced confusion, redactions, and incomplete access. The work showed how civil society groups moved into a transparency role normally expected from public agencies.
