Trump receives unconditional discharge in New York felony case

A New York judge sentenced President-elect Donald Trump to an unconditional discharge after his conviction on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. The sentence imposed no jail, probation, or fine, but left the conviction in place before Trump returned to office.
