Judge Burroughs voids Trump mass revocation of CBP One parole for 900,000 migrants

U.S. District Judge Allison Burroughs ruled on April 1, 2026, that the Trump administration illegally stripped immigration parole status from more than 900,000 migrants who had entered the United States through the Biden-era CBP One app. Trump officials had terminated the paroles en masse via a bulk email in January 2025, ordering recipients to leave the country. Burroughs found that DHS violated federal statute and its own regulations by revoking parole without individualized review, and ordered parole status restored for all class members.
