House passes GENIUS Act 308-122, sending stablecoin bill to Trump

The U.S. House of Representatives passed the GENIUS Act by a 308-122 vote — 206 Republicans and 102 Democrats in favor. Rather than go through conference with its own STABLE Act, the House passed the Senate version unchanged to speed enactment. House Financial Services Committee Chair French Hill (R-AR) managed the floor vote. The bill went to President Trump's desk the same day.
