US and Iran announce two-week ceasefire brokered by Pakistan

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that the United States and Iran, "along with their allies," agreed to "an immediate ceasefire everywhere including Lebanon and elsewhere, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY." The deal came after Pakistan-mediated talks. Negotiations in Islamabad were scheduled for April 10.
