21 Arrested, 4 Officers Injured as Faith Leaders Clash with Police at Broadview ICE Facility

A faith-led vigil outside the ICE processing facility in Broadview, Illinois turned confrontational on Nov. 14, 2025, resulting in 21 arrests and 4 officer injuries. At least 7 of those arrested were clergy from Presbyterian, Lutheran, Baptist, Unitarian Universalist, and Jewish traditions. Organizers from Operation Midway Blitz opposition said 100+ faith leaders attended. Cook County prosecutors later dropped charges against 19 of the 21 arrested.
