DHS strips Gregory Bovino of commander-at-large title after Minneapolis deaths

After Renee Good and Alex Pretti were killed during Bovino's Minneapolis operation in January 2026, DHS stripped him of his commander-at-large title and returned him to a sector post. He later retired. The demotion came after the deaths, not after the earlier civil-rights complaints from Chicago and Charlotte.
