Trump Pardons Adriana Camberos for Second Fraud Conviction — Repeat Beneficiary of Presidential Clemency
President Trump formally pardoned Adriana Camberos of San Diego on January 16, 2026 — the second time his clemency erased a criminal sentence for her. Her first conviction, for a conspiracy to sell millions of counterfeit 5-Hour Energy drinks, was commuted by Trump in 2021. Her second conviction arose from an entirely separate wholesale grocery fraud scheme: posing as an exporter or prison supplier to buy consumer goods at steep discounts, then secretly reselling them at profit in the US market. The DOJ noted the pattern made her a "repeat fraudster" who had twice benefited from presidential clemency.
