Massie and Khanna file the Epstein files discharge petition

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) filed a discharge petition on Sept. 2, 2025 to force a House floor vote on releasing the Justice Department's Epstein files. The petition was a way around Speaker Mike Johnson, who had refused to schedule a vote.
