BBC Director-General and News Chief Resign Over Misleadingly Edited Trump Jan. 6 Speech

BBC Director-General Tim Davie and news division chief Deborah Turness resigned on Nov. 9–10, 2025 after a leaked internal memo revealed the BBC had edited Trump's January 6, 2021 speech to make it appear he directly incited the Capitol riot.
