JD Vance and Chris Buskirk Found Rockbridge Network

Then-venture capitalist J.D. Vance and American Greatness publisher Chris Buskirk founded the Rockbridge Network in 2019 as what they described as a "political venture capital firm." Backing came from Peter Thiel and other Silicon Valley investors who recruited Republican megadonors Rebekah Mercer and Oren Cass to a founding meeting that set membership dues between $100,000 and $1 million.
