Gunman attacks Judge Esther Salas home killing her son Daniel Anderl

Roy Den Hollander, a former litigant and anti-feminist lawyer, went to U.S. District Judge Esther Salas' home in New Jersey while posing as a delivery driver. He shot and killed Salas' 20-year-old son, Daniel Anderl, and seriously wounded her husband, Mark Anderl. Salas was not hurt, but the attack became a central example of violent threats against judges and led to the Daniel Anderl Judicial Security and Privacy Act.
