UN Security Council passes Resolution 2803 authorizing Trump-led Gaza stabilization force

The UN Security Council passed Resolution 2803 by a 13-0 vote (Russia and China abstaining) authorizing a US-backed international stabilization force for Gaza and a "Board of Peace" transitional authority to be chaired by President Trump. The mandate expires end of 2027. Hamas rejected the resolution. Critics said it elevated US executive power over international law.
