CISA terminates $10M MS-ISAC cooperative agreement
CISA ended its cooperative agreement with the Center for Internet Security, cutting roughly $10 million in annual federal funding for the Multi-State ISAC and Elections Infrastructure ISAC. State and local governments that relied on free threat-intelligence sharing now face MS-ISAC membership fees that rose by $500 to $12,495 per tier. CISA said the move would "save taxpayers approximately $10 million a year" and eliminate redundancies.
