ICE agent fatally shoots Silverio Villegas Gonzalez during Franklin Park stop

An ICE agent shot and killed Silverio Villegas Gonzalez, a 38-year-old cook and father of two, during a traffic stop in suburban Franklin Park, Ill. DHS said he dragged the agent with his car; his family said he was trying to drive away. The death galvanized Little Village activists weeks before the Nov. 8 shooting.
