Israel Bans Doctors Without Borders and 40+ Aid Groups From Gaza

Israel banned Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) and approximately 40 other international humanitarian organizations from operating in Gaza and the West Bank, effective January 1, 2026. Israel cited new registration rules requiring aid groups to disclose staff identities, funding sources, and operations. Groups that had called for boycotts of Israel or supported international court cases against Israeli leaders were automatically disqualified.
