USCIS authorizes an additional 24-month STEM OPT extension

USCIS implements the 24-month STEM OPT extension authorized by Congress, allowing qualifying STEM degree holders to extend their post-graduation practical training from 29 months to 36 months maximum. Students continue to be tracked in SEVIS during this extended employment period, remaining under federal monitoring of their work authorization and status.
