Senate Passes Three FY2026 Appropriations Bills (Commerce-Justice-Science, Energy-Water, Interior) in 82-15 Vote

On Jan. 15, 2026, the Senate passed a three-bill appropriations package covering Commerce-Justice-Science, Energy and Water Development, and Interior and Environment for FY2026, by a vote of 82-15. The bills cut more than $10 billion in spending and funded the Departments of Justice, Energy, and Interior. The package (P.L. 119-74) was signed into law on January 23, 2026.
