One year into Trump's second term, Democratic attorneys general from 22 states and D.C. had won 40 of 51 resolved cases against the administration, per the Progressive State Leaders Committee tracker. Key victories included blocking the birthright citizenship executive order, reversing federal funding freezes, and halting unlawful National Guard deployments. California AG Rob Bonta and NY AG Letitia James led the coalition. AGs filed 71 total lawsuits.
