O'Connor Issues Nationwide Injunction Striking All Post-2010 USPSTF Mandates

Judge Reed O'Connor expanded his earlier ruling into a nationwide injunction striking all USPSTF preventive care coverage mandates issued after the ACA was signed in March 2010. The injunction allowed insurers nationwide to stop covering more than 100 free preventive services, potentially affecting 150 million privately insured Americans. The Biden administration immediately appealed to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
