Cruz and Hawley lead Senate objections to electoral votes

On Jan. 6, 2021, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) becomes the first senator to announce he will object to electoral votes. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) leads the objection to Arizona's electoral votes.
