'Free America Walkout' Draws Tens of Thousands Across All 50 States on Trump's First-Year Anniversary

On Jan. 20, 2026 — the one-year anniversary of Trump's second inauguration — Women's March and co-organizer 50501 staged the Free America Walkout, with more than 900 events mapped in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and several other countries. Participants walked out of workplaces, schools, and businesses at 2 PM to protest ICE raids, transgender rights rollbacks, and military deployments.
