Biden secretly sends long-range ATACMS missiles to Ukraine Kyiv uses them to strike airfield

The Biden administration secretly transfers ATACMS (Army Tactical Missile System) long-range missiles to Ukraine, a capability Kyiv had requested since early in the war. Ukraine uses the missiles within days to strike Russian military helicopters and ammunition at a Russian-held airfield in Berdyansk, destroying Russian assets well behind the front line. The range of ATACMS (up to 190 miles) allows Ukraine to strike targets previously unreachable. The administration announces the transfer only after Ukraine uses the missiles.
