Rioters enter Senate chamber and invade Nancy Pelosi's office

Around 2:45 p.m., pro-Trump rioters invade the Senate floor and break into House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office. Richard Barnett, an Arkansas supporter, is photographed sitting at Pelosi's desk with his feet up. The breach comes after rioters overwhelm police lines and force their way into the Capitol building. Congress is in session to certify the Electoral College results.
