Vice President JD Vance attended the September 11 Patriot Day ceremony at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum in New York City on Sept. 11, 2025, marking the 24th anniversary of the attacks. The annual ceremony, organized by the city of New York and the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, includes the reading of 2,977 names of victims; it is attended by elected officials, survivors, and first responders and broadcast nationally.
