On the three-year anniversary of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the Biden administration announces cumulative results. Improvements have started on over 196,000 miles of roads and over 11,400 bridge repair or replacement projects across all 50 states. Over $568 billion in infrastructure law funding has been announced through 66,000+ projects. The law includes the largest investment in passenger rail since Amtrak was founded ($66 billion), the largest broadband investment in history ($65 billion), the largest investment in water infrastructure in history ($55 billion), and the largest investment in public transit ever ($39 billion). The Brightline West High-Speed Rail project between Las Vegas and Southern California, the first true high-speed rail project in US history, breaks ground.
