Oklahoma law gives drivers protection after protest-related road incidents
Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt signed a law increasing penalties for some protest activity and giving drivers some civil and criminal immunity if they unintentionally injure someone while fleeing a riot. The bill followed Black Lives Matter-era road protests and drew concern from racial-justice advocates.
