Reagan-Appointed Judge Accuses Rubio and Noem of Unconstitutional Conspiracy Targeting Pro-Palestine Students
U.S. District Judge William G. Young of Boston—appointed by President Reagan—ruled that Secretary of State Marco Rubio and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem engaged in an "unconstitutional conspiracy to pick off" noncitizen academics for deportation based on their pro-Palestine political speech, violating the First Amendment. Young wrote they "failed in their sworn duty to uphold the Constitution" and issued an order protecting international students' immigration status.
