Federal authorities arrest Larry Rendall Brock in a Texas Jan. 6 case

Federal authorities arrested Larry Rendall Brock, then 53, of Grapevine, Texas, in a Jan. 6 Capitol breach case. The case involved obstruction of an official proceeding, entering restricted grounds, entering the floor of Congress, and disorderly conduct. NPR records that Brock was later found guilty at a bench trial and sentenced, that the sentence was later vacated and remanded, that the obstruction count was dismissed on January 9, 2025, and that the court granted dismissal with prejudice on January 21, 2025. NPR's public Jan. 6 archive was checked against the linked CourtListener / RECAP record before insertion.
