Diversity officers, professors, restaurant workers, and Baltimore sue to block the DEI orders

The National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education, the American Association of University Professors, Restaurant Opportunities Centers United, and the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, case 1:25-cv-00333. Represented by Democracy Forward and Asian Americans Advancing Justice, they argued the orders were unconstitutionally vague and violated the First Amendment, the Spending Clause, and separation of powers.
