Detroit voters sue Trump and the RNC over pressure to block certification

The Michigan Welfare Rights Organization and three Black Detroit voters sued Donald Trump, the Trump campaign, and the Republican National Committee under the Voting Rights Act. The complaint accused the defendants of trying to block certification in Wayne County and other majority-Black cities by repeating false fraud claims. The lawsuit put the racial targeting of certification pressure into court before Congress counted the electoral votes.
