Apalachee High School Shooting Kills Four in Winder, Georgia

A 14-year-old student opened fire at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia on September 4, 2024, killing students Mason Schermerhorn and Christian Angulo and teachers Cristina Irimie and Richard Aspinwall, and injuring nine others. The shooter used an AR-15-style rifle that his father, Colin Gray, had given him. The attack was among the deadliest US school shootings since the 2022 Uvalde massacre.
